Firefighters on Thursday rescued a dog trapped 30 feet down in a well in Moore County.

Around 7:30 a.m., firefighters from Cypress Point Fire & Rescue were
dispatched to the 4100 block of Union Church Road.

The dog’s owner said she was concerned when her dog did not return home after he went outside Thursday morning.

She began searching when her other dog alerted her to a
pipe in the ground. That’s when the owner found her dog stuck deep in a well.

Firefighters used a ladder to lower a firefighter into the hole to rescue the dog. Carthage Fire & Rescue also assisted in rescuing the dog.

The dog was finally removed from the well just after 9 a.m.

The dog’s owner transported him to the vet once he was
rescued from the water to have him examined.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
