HCSO Chief Financial Officer saves woman from dog attack

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – Chief Financial Officer Chris Gelonese saved a woman being attacked by two large dogs.

The woman was walking her two smaller dogs down on Monastery Avenue when she was attacked and pinned to the ground by the larger dogs.

Gelonese pulled over to defend the woman and her dogs until an ambulance arrived to treat the woman.

The heroic act earned Gelonese, who’s been with the Hampden County Sheriff’s office since 1995, high praise from the rest of the sheriff’s department.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
