Hanover Kennel Club dog show to feature hundreds of competitors

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The Hanover Kennel Club is inviting the community to its annual AKC-licensed all-breed dog shows at Legion Stadium this weekend, Oct. 12-13.

Per the club, hundreds of dogs will be competing for best in show.

“We are delighted to welcome spectators back to Hanover Kennel Club’s annual dog shows in Wilmington,” said Ann Roth, show chairman. “Not only is this a fun activity for families but it is the perfect place to talk to breed experts about topics such as training, grooming and the right breed for your lifestyle. An AKC dog show is also a great place to start your search for a responsible breeder.”

Admission is free, and guests can also expect dog show tours, food trucks and vendors.

Unentered dogs are not allowed at the event.

You can learn more and see the full schedule on the club’s website.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
