The Heart of Hastings Hospice invites you to mark your calendars for their signature fundraising event, Handbags for Hospice, presented by Chrome Supply Warehouse. This beloved annual event will take place on May 15th at the Stirling Curling Club, bringing together community supporters from across the Centre Hastings region for a night of fun, philanthropy, and unforgettable entertainment.

“We’re incredibly excited for this year’s event,” said Pauline Pietschmann, Fundraising and Awareness Coordinator at The Heart of Hastings Hospice. “It’s always inspiring to see how the community comes together to support such an important cause. We’ve got a fantastic evening planned, and we can’t wait to share it with everyone.”
The support for this event is crucial, and the funds raised will go a long way in sustaining the free programs and services offered by the hospice.

· J.P. Baldwin, actor, dancer, and choreographer, will appear as his fabulous Meryl Eau persona to host the evening style

“We’re bringing back all the fan-favorite elements, with exciting new additions this year,” said Pietschmann. “It’s going to be an unforgettable night!”
The Heart of Hastings Hospice is a volunteer-based service offering in-home palliative care throughout Central Hastings, along with their three-bed hospice residence facility for individuals nearing the end of life. All services are provided free of charge and are focused on meeting the emotional, physical, spiritual, and psychological needs of patients and their families. The hospice also offers grief and bereavement services to support families after the loss of a loved one.
“We are deeply thankful for the ongoing support from our generous community and the many people who believe in the vital role the Hospice House plays in our region,” said Pietschmann. “We encourage sponsors and friends to join us in May for an evening to remember.”
