Skating Star’s Tribute To Parents Ends In Emotional Collapse | DC Plane Crash Victims

Maxim Naumov delivered a deeply emotional tribute at the Legacy on Ice charity event in Washington, D.C., honoring his parents, who tragically lost their lives in the Jan. 29 American Airlines and Black Hawk helicopter crash. The 23-year-old skater performed to The City That Doesn’t Exist, his parents’ favorite song, before breaking down in tears, leaving the audience in stunned silence. The heart-wrenching moment quickly went viral, sparking an outpouring of support from fans and fellow skaters. His parents, Evgenia Shishkova and Vadim Naumov, both former world champion figure skaters, were among the 67 victims of the devastating mid-air collision. Shockingly, Naumov himself was originally scheduled to be on that ill-fated flight but flew home two days earlier. Nearly half of the passengers lost in the tragedy were young figure skaters, coaches, and their families, making it a devastating blow to the skating community.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
