Guide Dogs of America – The San Fernando Valley Sun

Guide Dogs of America received a $20,000 donation from Purina, and delivered through the Purina Trust Fund, on March 14 to replace their pavilion, which serves as the event space for service dog graduations and other public events. The Sylmar-based organization breeds, raises and trains guide dogs for people who are blind or visually impaired, as well as service dogs for veterans and children with autism. The check presentation was paired with a “puppy go home” ceremony, where 8-week-old pups raised by the organization will meet with foster families who are responsible for the next phase of their training.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
