Guide Dogs for the Blind puppies practice navigating airports at PDX

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – Some future guide dogs got a chance to train at the Portland International Airport on Saturday morning.

About 25 pups from Guide Dogs for the Blind went through a training exercise to help them learn to navigate a busy airport as they prepare to successfully guide visually impaired people.

The exercise also gave TSA staff a chance to learn more about the travel needs of blind and visually impaired people, while raising public awareness about the nonprofit’s ongoing need for volunteers to raise future guide dogs.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
