Group celebrates service dogs and their forever partners

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – For the first time in many years, and after working through an extensive waiting list, Saint Francis Service Dogs is now accepting applications from people in need of service dogs with lots of new puppies coming to the program.

Executive Director of Saint Francis Service Dogs, Cabell Youell, joined us on Here @ Home to talk about the new litter and how people can apply to be matched with partners.

She also talked about the graduation event coming up Sunday, October 20 and how people can watch.

It’s happening at 7 p.m. and you can view it online here.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
