BATAVIA — Area pets owners are being reminded about the importance of keeping dogs leashed and under control at all times.
Numerous incidents of off-leash dogs biting children, pedestrians, and cyclists have been reported this year, Genesee and Orleans Health Departments officials said in a news release.
