CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Roses are red, violets are blue, adopt a ‘fur-ever’ Valentine waiting for you!
City Dogs Cleveland said the kennel is “VERY FULL” of “SO many great dogs who have a lot of love to give.”
Over 30 dogs have come into the kennel in just two days, “and the pace isn’t slowing down,” City Dogs Cleveland shared.
To help getting as many pups paired up as possible, City Dogs has reduced adoption fees to just $21 from Feb. 7-9.
Not only does your Valentine come with a lifetime of unconditional puppy love and sloppy kisses, the adopt fee includes:
- microchip
- county license
- basic vaccinations
- spay/neuter surgery
Walk-ups are welcome between 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Adopters will also get a special Valentine’s Day goodie bag to go with their “paw-fect” match this weekend!
City Dogs Cleveland adoption counselors will be ready to help you find a great match for your lifestyle, from pups for a family to grow alongside, to mature dogs who want to retire curled-up on the couch while watching a rom-com.

“If you don’t reach someone live right away, PLEASE leave a voicemail as these are checked regularly,” City Dogs insisted. “If you know anyone who is missing a pet, please have them check the kennel ASAP!”

For those who are unable to adopt or foster at this time but still want to help, the kennel is always in need of monetary and item donations, like the dogs’ favorite chew dogs.
“Providing the dogs with in-kennel enrichment is so important when our facility is so full,” City Dogs Cleveland stated.
You don’t even have to go to the store or stop by the kennel to drop off your donations!
