Funeral being held Tuesday for dog attack victims

HUNTINGBURG, Ind. (WFIE) – On Tuesday, the funeral will be held for the woman and child who died after a reported dog attack in Huntingburg.

The funeral is set to begin at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

As we’ve reported, 53-year-old Oliva Regalado and 4-year-old Evelynn Lopez died last Monday.

Police tell us Regalado was watching the four year old while her parents worked.

Officers say Regalado died at the home that afternoon due to pre-existing health conditions.

After that, an autopsy shows Evelynn was attacked by the dogs in the home.

Friends of the family describe this loss as heartbreaking for Evelynn’s parents, Alberto and Gina.

A GoFundMe has also been set up that will go directly to Alberto and Gina and can be found here.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
