TEMPE, AZ (AZFamily)—At Aloha Yogurt, owner Whit Harbaugh says making and selling dessert allows him to connect with our community while offering a fun treat to celebrate special events and uplift people’s days. He’s been in food and beverage since he was 14 and dreamed of opening his own place. When an opportunity arose in 2010, six months after his ASU graduation, he jumped on it!
Now 15 years in the business, Whit takes his frozen yogurt business to the next level by creating their own flavors and making homemade nostalgic goodies that other shops weren’t offering, like “Froyo Tacos” from scratch as a play on the old Chaco Taco, along with Dog-urt (dog-friendly froyo), Froyo Pies, Pops, and even cookie dough sandwiches.
At Aloha Yogurt, they say they’re “stoked” to serve hand-mixed Froyo flavors, made-to-order smoothies, and craft coffee six days a week. They believe in offering quality products for humans and their dogs in a friendly, casual environment, and they love collaborating with other local businesses to enhance the community experience.
