
One of the dogs that attacked and killed a woman on Friday night has been euthanized, according to Baltimore Police.
Around 8:50 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of N. Pulaski Street in response to a dog bite incident.
When officers arrived, they reported that two stray pit bull dogs had attacked three individuals.
A 67-year-old woman and 42-year-old man sustained non-life-threatening dog bites, according to police.
The third victim, 54-year-old Sheila Jones, succumbed to her injuries, police said.
The officers discharged their firearms during the incident, striking one of the dogs.
Both dogs were apprehended by the Office of Animal Control.
The dog that was shot was euthanized due to the severity of its injuries. The other dog remains in custody.
