Four dogs rescued, one perishes in north Chattanooga house fire

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Four dogs were rescued, but only three survived after a kitchen fire in a North Chattanooga home Tuesday evening.

At 5:45 p.m., February 25, 2025, crews with the Chattanooga Fire Department responded to the 300 block of Pine Ridge Road.

Upon arrival, crews quickly extinguished a fire that started in the kitchen of the residence.

Four dogs were rescued from the home.

CFD stated crews used oxygen therapy on scene to assist in rehabilitating the dogs.

Unfortunately, one dog perished.

No other injuries occurred from this incident.
