Fort Collins firefighters save dogs from a house fire

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (KKTV) – Firefighters in Fort Collins responded to a two-alarm fire on Thursday where they saved two dogs from the second story of the home.

Roofers nearby saw smoke coming from the home and ran to knock on the door. Poudre Fire said that was when the roofers heard dogs trapped inside. One of the roofers told 9-1-1 that he believed the dogs were upstairs in the home.

One of the roofers attempted to go inside and coax the dogs out, but after inhaling smoke he knew it wasn’t safe to be inside any longer.

When firefighters arrived, some went to fight the flames while one firefighter went to search for the dogs.

Poudre Fire said the firefighter was successfully able to rescue both dogs from the home.

No injuries were reported.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
