Former Cedar County, Mo., licensed dog breeder faces criminal charges

STOCKTON, Mo. (KY3) – A former licensed dog breeder near Stockton faces criminal charges after the Humane Society of Missouri’s Animal Cruelty Task Force.

Sarah Walborn faces 12 misdemeanor counts of animal abuse.

The animals included 42 dogs, two cats, and seven kittens. They were removed after inspectors with the Missouri Department of Agriculture received reports that they were in dire condition and that dead animals were on site.

The rescue was coordinated in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Agriculture and the Missouri Attorney General’s Office.
