Brodie the Goldendoodle was already an internet star, but this good boy stole the show during Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final on Monday.
Sitting in the front row at Amerant Bank Arena with his owner, Cliff Brush Jr., Brodie made the rounds on social media as a main attraction in the corner of the ice.
The Chewbacca-looking doggo was seen throughout the game watching Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final with his paws on the glass.
“If you’re wondering how much support the Panthers have in Florida, it’s gone so far that we even have dogs that are here cheering on the cats,” Viaplay Hockey, a Swedish broadcasting group, said in a transcribed video posted to the dog’s Instagram account.
Brodie was seen wearing earmuffs during the game, which the broadcast said was “needed” due to the massive amounts of noise that the sold-out crowd of nearly 20,000 Floridians generated.
While his owner rocked a Panthers jersey, the pair were certainly thrilled to see the home team pull off the victory and walk away with the franchise’s first Stanley Cup.
Brodie boasts some of the fluffiest exteriors you’ll see, while also being well-behaved for the contest and not bothering other hockey-goers.
The pooch is actually a bit of an internet star at this point, with Brodie’s Instagram account accumulating 1.2 million followers.
Brush also runs a lucrative YouTube channel for his best friend, which garners massive attention with 5.33 million subscribers.
He even went viral while sitting on his owner, Brush’s lap while courtside at a Lakers game.
Brodie won fan of the night during his public showcase, with the post recapping their night receiving plenty of social media attention.
The pair don’t just spend time at sporting events together.
Brodie and Brush have spent time at local children’s hospitals cheering up sick patients and giving a morale boost to the hardworking nurses.
Brodie is a service dog, which allows his owner to bring him into different areas that typically wouldn’t be eligible for a dog his size.
However, Brodie’s kindhearted nature makes him a welcome sight at sporting events, hospitals and even Disney World.
