Firefighters rescue dogs stranded on rooftop, now seeking forever homes

SAN ANTONIO – Firefighters rescued two dogs stranded on the roof of a downtown business, and now the dogs are looking for their forever homes.

On Tuesday, a driver traveling along the elevated highway near Lucy’s Doggy Daycare and Space spotted the dogs on the rooftop and called for help, according to Animal Care Services (ACS).

Firefighters used ladders to rescue the dogs, named Leonardo and Dicaprio. ACS believes they likely reached the roof by jumping from a nearby highway embankment.

Leonardo and Dicaprio are now in the care of ACS and are ready for adoption.

To meet them, visit the Animal Care Services Center at 4710 State Highway 151 between 1 and 7 p.m.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
