Firefighters rescue dogs from Oviedo home blaze

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — The Seminole County Fire Department said a fire broke out at an Oviedo home, and several dogs were rescued on Saturday afternoon.

Firefighters said units arrived at the scene, and smoke and flames were visible. 

According to the social media post, occupants were not home at the time, and several dogs were rescued.

SCFD said a water shuttle was established to supply water due to the rural location and distance of fire hydrants. 

The State Fire Marshal’s office is investigating the cause.
