LINCOLN COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — A firefighter was injured and two dogs were killed in a fire that spread to multiple structures Wednesday in Lincoln County.
The fire was reported about 3 p.m. on Lady Bug Lane in the West Hamlin area, according to the West Hamlin Fire & Rescue.
The fire department said one firefighter suffered non-life-threatening burns to the hand and was taken to a local hospital during the incident. Two dogs were also killed in the fire, which involved three structures.
Members of the Guyan River VFD, Hamlin VFD, Salt Rock VFD and Lincoln EMS responded to the scene.
