Fiesta-themed ‘Paw-changa’ pet adoption fair showcases hundreds of pets ready for homes

SAN ANTONIO – In celebration of National Pet Day, San Antonio’s Animal Care Services hosted the city’s largest pet adoption fair on Saturday.

The fiesta-themed “Paw-changa” event spotlighted hundreds of dogs and cats ready to be adopted for an all-inclusive $50 pet adoption fee.

San Antonio Pets Alive, the Animal Defense League, and the Footbridge Foundation were part of the “Paw-changa” partners.

The event also featured all day live-entertainment and music, food trucks, a marketplace showcasing local businesses, family-friendly crafting, and dog enrichment activities.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
