CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) — If you’ve ever wished you could take a dog home just for the night, the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA has a program that do just that.
The Fido Sleepover program allows volunteers to bring shelter dogs home overnight, giving them a much-needed break from the kennel and a chance to decompress in a real home environment. More than just a fun outing, the initiative plays a vital role in helping dogs get adopted.
