‘Fest of Tails’ free kite festival and dog fair returns to McAllister Park

SAN ANTONIO – The Fest of Tails, a free family-friendly kite festival and dog show, has returned to McAllister Park.

Hosted by the San Antonio Parks Foundation, the event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at 13102 Jones Maltsberger Road.

The festival features a pooch parade and costume contest, large kite displays, carnival games, food vendors, and an artisan market that offers unique goods for both dogs and humans.

The City of San Antonio Horticulture Department is hosting a free plant giveaway while supplies last. There will also be dogs available for adoption on-site as part of a partnership with the Animal Defense League of Texas and San Antonio Pets Alive.

Admission is free for all ages and dogs are welcome. For more information, visit www.saparks.org.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
