HOME WITH MORE. CHANTELLE. YEAH, GUYS, AT FIRST GLANCE, WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE HOME, YOU CAN’T REALLY TELL. THAT WENT UP IN FLAMES. YOU SEE SOME BURN MARKS ON EITHER SIDE. BUT IF YOU TAKE A LOOK OVER HERE ON THE LINE CHAIR, COMPLETELY BURNT INTO PIECES, AND THAT USED TO BE A LOVE SEAT. THAT’S WHERE FIREFIGHTERS BELIEVE THE FIRE ACTUALLY STARTED. CELIA GOFF HAS A LOT OF WORK TO DO, PICKING UP WHATEVER HASN’T BEEN LOST AFTER FRIDAY’S FIRE AT THIS HOME ON PINE STREET IN ENID. AT FIRST, I DIDN’T WANT TO BELIEVE IT, BUT I TOOK THE CHANCE AND I WENT UP THERE TO THE HOUSE AND I SEEN IT FOR MYSELF. I BROKE, I’M NOT GOING TO LIE. FIREFIGHTERS BELIEVE THE FIRE STARTED HERE AFTER GOFF’S UNCLE, RICHARD CRANE, LIT A CIGARETTE IN THE LIVING ROOM AND FELL ASLEEP. INVESTIGATORS SAY HE MOST LIKELY WOKE UP TO THE FLAMES AND TRIED ESCAPING OVER HERE BY THE STAIRS. HE DIED WITH BURNS. FIREFIGHTERS SAY EMILY CRANE DIED BY SMOKE INHALATION IN THE BACK BEDROOM ALONG WITH HER FOUR DOGS. IT’S ALL TAKEN THE FAMILY BY SURPRISE. WE DIDN’T KNOW ANYTHING AND DIDN’T EVEN HAVE A PLAN OF HOW SHE WAS GOING TO GET CREMATED OR ANYTHING, WHICH IS WHY OTHERS ARE STEPPING IN TO HELP. EMILY WAS BELOVED, WORKING AT THE COMMONS RETIREMENT COMMUNITY. HER FORMER COWORKER RODNEY BRITTON HAS SINCE SET UP A GOFUNDME TO SUPPORT THE FAMILY THROUGH THIS TOUGH TIME. THE RESIDENTS TODAY ARE DEFINITELY FEELING THE LOSS. FROM WHAT SHE CONTRIBUTED. SOMETIMES YOU DON’T REALLY KNOW UNTIL SOMETHING’S GONE AND THEN YOU FIGURE IT OUT REAL QUICK. AND IF YOU DO FEEL INCLINED TO DONATE, WE HAVE THE LINK WITH THIS STORY ON KOCO.COM. THAT’S RIGHT NOW. AND IF YOU WANT TO HEAR MORE ABOUT THE CRANES AND WHO THEY WERE, WE HAVE THAT STORY COMING UP F
