Family displaced in North Charleston structure fire

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – The North Charleston Fire Department says a family cannot live in their home because of a structure fire.

Fire crews responded to an apartment complex on the 5700 block Nelson Street Friday morning. The fire, which officials now say was contained to the kitchen, was quickly brought under control.

Fire department spokeswoman Capt. Laura Kondor says investigators also responded.

A family of three has been displaced; however, firefighters did rescue two dogs from the apartment that was affected.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
