Elderly Woman and Dogs Escape Unharmed in Phelan Fire Incident

PHELAN, Calif. (VVNG.com) — An elderly woman and her dogs escaped unharmed following a fire Tuesday morning in Phelan.

The incident occurred around 10:40 AM on January 7, 2025, near Holly Road and Johnson Road.

Initial reports indicate that the woman, who owns approximately a dozen dogs, was able to exit the burning structure safely.

The woman acted quickly to ensure her dogs escape from the area of the fire.

When firefighters arrived, they discovered that a travel trailer had burned to the ground, along with some associated debris.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
