Fashion label Eckhaus Latta, founded in 2011 by Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta, just launched its first-ever handbag silhouette after over two decades in the fashion world. For its first bag, the brand’s aim was to create the perfect everyday silhouette that prioritized functionality — blending utility-inspired design with its signature codes.
The result is the Snap, crafted from lambskin leather and with a blind embossed logo. Seemingly inspired by the recent resurgence of the hobo bag, the soft, curved silhouette arrives in four colorways of black, brown, green and red — with minimal studded detailing below its shoulder strap. The brown iteration of the Snap is exclusive to Eckhaus Latta, retailing for $650 USD.
Celebrating the launch is an all-new campaign lensed by Michael Hauptman, with art direction by Eric Wrenn.
