TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – An East Topeka church will be offering free food on Saturday.
The event will take place from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, 610 S.E. Lime St.
Organizers said hamburgers, hot dogs and baked beans will be available on a “grab-and-go” basis.
Those attending the event are asked to go downstairs to the church’s Fellowship Hall to pick up the boxed meals.
The event is sponsored by the church’s Benevolence Ministry.
