ST. LOUIS — Dogswell has launched its new Senior Health Mini Soft Strips, a functional life-stage treat formulated specifically for senior dogs 7 years or older. Soft and chewy in duck flavor, the high-protein strips support a range of age-related health needs, including hip and joint mobility, health skin and coat, immune support and cognitive function.

The treat uses glucosamine and chondroitin to support hip and joint mobility, along with Vitamin E, which also helps bolster the immune system. Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids are added to promote healthy skin and coats. DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), an essential Omega 3 acid, also helps keep cognitive function sharp as pets age, according to Cloud Star.
The treats also feature a high protein content (33%) of European-sourced, farm-raised duck to help mature dogs maintain muscle mass and entice picky eaters. The mini size and soft texture also makes them easy to chew for elderly dogs with sensitive teeth.
