Dogs thrown from Dog River Bridge saved by police and search team

According to Mobile Police, on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at approximately 3:38 p.m., officers responded to the 5000 block of Dauphin Island Parkway (Dog River Bridge) in reference to a report of two dogs being thrown from the bridge.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the dogs in the water, and with the help of Daphne Search & Rescue, were able to recover the dogs.

The dogs are being cared for by Animal Services. This remains an active investigation.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
