Saturdays in October are officially for the dogs.
For the second straight year, Ruff Day Rescue hosted their annual Pawstoberfest event at Veterans Park in Brentwood on Saturday.
Dogs, and their owners, took over the park along with numerous local businesses, whose tents surrounded the park. There was a dog costume contest for both the small and big dogs, activities for kids, and live music by the band dog lips.
