DILLON COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — Three dogs were seized after they attacked a woman Tuesday, according to officials with Dillon County Animal Control.
Officials say a man shot one of the dogs to stop them from attacking a woman on Tumbleweed Drive in the Mounty Calvary community of Dillon County.

The shot dog was taken to a veterinarian’s office and is now at the Dillon County Animal Shelter with the other seized dogs.
Animal Control said they set traps to capture the remaining three of six dogs they believe to have been involved.
Dillon County Sheriff Jamie Hamilton said the woman was taken to the hospital and is expected to be ok.
