Dogs rescued from Tri-State home found trying to escape through broken window, dryer vent

CARROLL COUNTY, Ky. (WKRC) – Officers responding to a distress call in Carroll County found a harrowing scene, where multiple dogs were attempting to escape a home through a broken window and smaller puppies through a dryer vent.

Carrollton PD on Wednesday found nobody home at a residence on Taylor Street. The officers noted the home’s “deplorable living conditions” with a strong smell of ammonia and feces and no visible food or water for the dogs.

A family member, who does not reside at the address, arrived and allowed the officers to enter the residence. Five adult dogs and 17 unweaned puppies were rescued and surrendered to Carroll County Animal Control.

The investigation revealed that the home had been without water for 60 days. Potential charges are pending.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
