Dogs rescued from Bradenton house fire

BRADENTON, Fla. (WWSB) – Two dogs in their crates were rescued Monday when their owners’ house caught fire, Cedar Hammock fire officials said.

Fire Rescue units along with the Bradenton Fire Department and Manatee County EMS responded to fire at about 11:30 a.m.

When crews arrived, they were met by the occupant who told them she was not sure what was on fire but her two dogs were inside.

Firefighters found a small fire in the kitchen which was quickly extinguished.

A search team found the dogs in their crate in a bedroom. Once outside, firefighters, with the assistance of EMS, began to care for the dogs.

Suffering smoke inhalation, the pups received oxygen and rescuers cooled them down with water.

Both dogs regained consciousness. With their breathing improved, they were turned over to their owners.

The exact cause of the fire has not been released.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
