While dogs aren’t usually known for their great timing, one Cane Corso has left the internet in hysterics after showcasing natural comedic talent while playing with a new water toy.
In a hilarious video posted by TikTok user Amy Timson (@tailsofadoggroomer), the Cane Corso can be seen learning how to play with a new fountain toy that shoots water into the air.
But after seeing the water fountain in action just once, it didn’t take long for the pup to figure out how it works and get his own back. While the woman in the video bent down to touch the toy, the scheming Cane Corso showed what “nice timing” he has by stepping on the toy to send the water flying into her face.
The clever dog certainly caught her by surprise with his antics, and she couldn’t stop laughing at how quickly he learned to use the new toy.

Since the TikTok video was shared on June 8, it has delighted plenty of social media users, leading to more than 7 million views and over 589,800 likes at the time of writing.
Standing at over 27 inches tall at the shoulder, the Cane Corso is a powerful and assertive dog, and it’s no surprise the breed is regarded as being fearless protectors.
The American Kennel Club (AKC) previously noted how intelligent and loyal the breed is, but they are also high-energy and need plenty of daily exercise to keep them stimulated. There’s no better companion for a long walk or run, or the AKC also suggests putting their skills to good use by competing in agility, obedience, protection sport, and tracking events.
Aside from being the ultimate guard dog, Cane Corsos also known for being incredibly eager to please. They love nothing more than putting a smile on their owner’s face and making them happy.
Needless to say, this Cane Corso certainly managed to do that by showing off his perfect timing.
Since Timson, a dog groomer, shared the video on TikTok, it’s left millions of social media users holding back the laughter. With over 2,500 comments on the viral post already, there was plenty of praise for the quick-thinking dog, while others joked that he was simply getting revenge on his owner.
One comment reads: “he’s like, this is for tying me up outside.”
“He DEFINITELY knew what he was doing,” joked another TikTok user.
One person praised the dog for his intelligence, as they wrote: “he learns fast.”
While another TikToker defended the pup, joking that: “He didn’t think she remembered, he was just helping.”
