Dogs in costume gather at Whiteside Park for Howl-O-Ween

TULSA, Okla. — Dogs in costume alongside their owners gathered at Whiteside Park for Howl-O-Ween.

The event included a dog costume contest and a dog treat scavenger hunt.

“We wanted to take him to Howl-O-Ween,” said Tulsa area resident Annie who brought her dog Tucker to the event. “We were here for Easter whenever they did the Easter one. We made the kissing booth for him and I just thought it was such a DIY original idea because I was like, I don’t see him in a costume that he’s not going to tear off of himself. So, that’s what I decided to do. I’m very excited. I love to see all the cute dogs and I know it’s fun for him to play with all the dogs.”

Overall, Howl-O-Ween brings those who attend some Halloween fun and community for both dogs and humans.

“I really like that all the dogs can get together here and it’s just really nice for everybody,” said Annie.

Below you can see some of the dogs in their costumes at Howl-O-Ween:

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
