Dogs in a Pile: No Sleeping Dogs Here!

Frankly, these Dogs in a Pile aren’t spending very much time in an actual pile; they are busy racing hither and yon with shows coast to coast. 2024 has been a very busy year for DIAP, and they aren’t slowing down for a nap any time soon. The current tour is six shows in, and Wednesday (November 6) they will play the first of three Colorado dates, then five more in the Midwest, and shows in Nashville and Atlanta before headlining at Sunshine Hootenanny Music & Art Festival in Florida. 

The Dogs will cap off November with a pair of shows at, naturally, The CAP Port Chester, joined by like-minded jammers Eggy. They have five December shows in the Northeast before their four-night New Year’s run at Putnam Place in Saratoga Springs.

Dogs in a Pile have a dozen January calendar dates up and down the West Coast, with eight of those in The Golden State. In February they will once again hop on Jam Cruise, and May will find them with x at Viva El Gonzo.

Dogs in a Pile are: Jeremy Kaplan, keyboards; Brian Murray, guitar; Joey Babick, drums; Jimmy Law, guitar; and Sam Lucid, bass. They excel in funk, jazz, rock and roll, and psychedelia, all tinged with unbridled joy and excellent showmanship.
