Dogs impacted by California fires heading to Massachusetts

(WGGB/WSHM) – Nine dogs, that have been impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires, are on their way to Massachusetts and will arrive late Friday.

MSPCA-Angell made the announcement Friday that the dogs will be on a flight arranged by Best Friends Animal Society. Upon arrival in Delaware, the animals will be met by MSPCA-Angell vans that will bring them to the Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem.

The dogs range in age from roughly one to 10-years-old and include mixes of hounds, German shepherds, pit bulls, and cattle dogs. They will be available for adoption after their state-mandated 48-hour quarantine and after receiving any necessary medical care.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
