Dog’s health could be put in serious danger by these 11 common houseplants

As we celebrate National Pet Month this April, it’s crucial to consider the safety of our pets within our homes.

While houseplants can add a touch of life and vibrancy to any space, some could pose a health risk to your furry friends.

To assist pet owners in creating a safe environment for their beloved companions, garden centre Beards & Daisies has shared a list of pet-friendly plants suitable for your home, as well as those that are most toxic and should be avoided.

Many common houseplants contain toxins that, if ingested by pets, can cause anything from mild stomach upset to serious health complications.

Therefore, selecting pet-friendly plants is essential for households with dogs and cats.
