Dogs from LA shelters impacted by wildfires headed to Mass. for adoption

Nine dogs that were already awaiting new families at Los Angeles-area animal shelters when the area was ravaged by wildfires are headed to the East Coast to find homes, the MSPCA-Angell said. MSPCA said their transport vans were headed to Delaware to pick up nine dogs that are being flown to the East Coast from the Pasadena Humane Society. “These dogs were already in shelters before the fires broke out, and by bringing them to the MSPCA-Angell, we’re helping free up space for Pasadena to continue critical work: caring for displaced pets and reuniting them with their families,” MSPCA said. Pasadena Humane has already reunited more than 400 pets with their owners and is still caring for nearly 200 found animals. Dogs flown in on the flight, organized by Best Friends Animal Society, will be taken to various shelters on the East Coast to find new homes. The dogs are set to arrive in Massachusetts on Friday. After a state-mandated 48-hour quarantine and any necessary medical care, they’ll be ready for adoption. Click here to learn more or meet one of the MSPCA’s other deserving pets.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
