Dogs found in stolen U-Haul involved in police chase

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Four dogs are at the Mahoning County Dog Warden’s facility after they were found in a stolen U-Haul van following a police chase Sunday night.

According to a post on the Dog Warden’s Facebook page, the van was stolen from Warren and police tried to stop it, but were led on a chase that started in Liberty and went through Struthers, Campbell, Boardman and Youngstown.

The van and the dogs were then reportedly abandoned on E. Avondale Avenue.

WKBN reached out to police for more information on the chase and is waiting to hear back.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
