Dogs found emaciated in Delaware, police investigating

Police in Delaware are investigating a disturbing case of animal abuse after two severely emaciated dogs were discovered trapped in a room.

The dogs were found by Ace Horne and his family when they visited a house on Sunday.

“It was a couch blocking them from coming over, but they were just like super skinny. And like too weak to get over it,” said Horne.

Horne described the dogs’ condition, saying, “They was really skinny. And like one of it’s like the one’s face was kind of like it had green stuff coming off his eye and stuff.”

He said the dogs were so malnourished that their bones were visible through their fur. The sight prompted Horne and his mother to call the police. However, officers said they could not enter the house to rescue the dogs without a warrant.

Ace’s mother and aunt managed to persuade the man at the house to surrender the dogs. The women then took the dogs to the police, who transported them to a shelter where they received coats and food.

“I just hope that they get healthy and get adopted. But I hope they get loved for and stuff. I hope they get cared for,” Horne said.

Investigators are still working to determine who actually owned the dogs.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
