Doggone mystery as 14 puppies found stuffed into crate, ditched in…

It’s a doggone mystery.

More than a dozen abandoned puppies packed into a crate and ditched in an alley on Long Island were found Wednesday night — after the poor pooches’ barking echoed through the neighborhood, cops said.

Nassau County cops responded to the alleyway on Centre Avenue in East Rockaway around 10:20 p.m. when someone called 911 about the barking, authorities said.

The officers found 14 dogs left alone inside a plastic crate, cops said.

A photo provided by cops shows the puppies, with little room to move around, packed into a crate with black bars that was loaded into the back of a police van.

The pups were taken to the town of Hempstead Animal Control, cops said.

It remained unclear Thursday afternoon who had abandoned the dogs, or where they came from. Police said the investigation was ongoing.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
