WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI – As a puppy, Cali knew only pain.
Laying on a veterinarian’s examination table in March of 2023, the young 35-pound Australian Shepard was there to be treated for a broken leg from what her owner said was a fall down the stairs, according to the Humane Society of Huron Valley.
