Dog that survived deadly plane crash treated in Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WFSB) – One dog that survived a deadly plane crash is being treated at a vet in Middletown.

Pieper Veterinary Hospital says they took in one of the dogs who survived a plane crash Sunday night.

Whiskey, a 4-month-old Labrador mix, was being transported by plane along with two other dogs from high-euthanasia shelters in the South to the Animal Shelter of Schoharie Valley when their plane crashed.

The pilot, animal rescuer Suek Kim, and one of the dogs onboard died.

The Veterinary Hospital says Whiskey sustained minor chest injuries and two broken legs. The second survivor, Pluto, a 1.5-year-old male Yorkie/Terrier mix, was evaluated at Capital District Veterinary Hospital before being released to the Animal Shelter of Schoharie Valley.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
