TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THIS VIDEO OF A LITTLE DOG THAT WAS HIT BY A CAR IN PORT SAINT LUCIE, AND DISCOVERED 12 HOURS LATER, WHEN THE CAR OWNER FINALLY REALIZED THE DOG WAS STUCK IN THE GRILL OF HER CAR, RIGHT ABOVE THE BUMPER. OUR CALEB CALIFANO SPOKE TO THE DOG’S OWNER TONIGHT, WHO IS HAPPY TO HAVE HIS PUP BACK HOME. THEY’RE CALLING IT A MIRACLE. A DOG GETS RUN OVER, THEN GETS STUCK IN THE GRILL OF A WOMAN’S CAR FOR 12 HOURS. JUST TO GET RESCUED WITHOUT A SINGLE SCRATCH. THIS GOOD BOY IS BARBUS, AND WHILE HE’S HAPPY NOW, HIS OWNER, IGNACIO IS RELIEVED THAT HE’S STILL ALIVE. I GOT FOUR DOGS AND I SAID, I KNOW I DON’T WANT TO LOSE ANY. THIS VIDEO SHOWS WHY CREWS AT AN AUTO SHOP PULLING BARBS FROM THE FRONT OF A CAR. HI. IT WAS EARLIER THIS WEEK A WOMAN WAS DRIVING AT NIGHT WHEN SHE SAID THE DOG RAN OUT AND HIT HER CAR. THE CREWS AT SAINT LUCIE BATTERY AND TIRE TELL ME IT WASN’T UNTIL 12 HOURS LATER. THE WOMAN NOTICED THE DOG. THEN IMMEDIATELY BROUGHT HER CAR TO THE SHOP WITH BARBS STUCK INSIDE THE FRONT GRILLE. HE WAS THEN RESCUED WITH ONLY MINOR INJURIES. IT WASN’T HIS TIME TO GO. THE ONLY WAY I CAN EXPLAIN IT IS THE DOG HIT THE PERFECT SPOT. PERFECT TIME. I THINK THE DOG JUST PUNCTURED THIS. GOT TRAPPED INSIDE, CLOSED BACK UP HERE. SWEET BABY. NOW HOME IN FORT PIERCE. IGNACIO TELLS ME BARBUS IS BACK TO WHAT HE ALWAYS SHOULD HAVE BEEN DOING. BEING SAFE AND SECURE AT HOME WITH THE REST OF HIS FAMILY. NOTHING WRONG WITH THE DOG, A MIRACLE. YEAH, I MEAN, SOMETHING UNBELIEVABLE. I TOLD HIM I THOUGHT I LOST MY DOG. A dog in Port St. Lucie was hit by a car and remained lodged in the vehicle’s grill for 12 hours, only to be rescued without serious injury.The incident occurred earlier this week when a woman driving at night said the dog darted in front of her car. Unaware that the dog had become stuck in the grille, she continued driving. It wasn’t until the following day that she discovered the dog and immediately drove to St. Lucie Battery and Tire, where the dog was freed by the auto shop’s crew.“I’ve got four dogs, and I don’t want to lose any,” said Ignacio Rangel, the dog’s owner. Video footage from the shop shows mechanics carefully extracting the dog from the front of the car.“It wasn’t his time to go,” said Lenny Cruz from St. Lucie Battery and Tire. “The dog hit the perfect spot at the perfect time.”Now safely back home with his family, Barbas, a 1-and-a-half-year-old dog, is back to his normal routine. “It’s unbelievable, I thought I lost my dog,” Rangel said.
