A small dog with a big personality has gone viral thanks to a video of his tantrum while refusing to take a bath.
Zeus, a miniature schnauzer, may not appear intimidating, particularly as he wears an adorable blue outfit, but he proved he can stand up for himself quite easily. In a video shared to his owner’s TikTok account, @tashp9, on June 23, Tash can be heard telling Zeus firmly that he has to take a bath.
The schnauzer is having none of it. He walks out of his crate making a grumpy, growling noise that one commenter said made him sound “possessed.”

Tash then follows him down the hallway, insisting he needs a bath, but the dog, in his tiny blue suit, struts away, making the same hysterical noise.
As he hides in his crate again, Tash can be heard laughing, and she continues following him around as he makes his “demon” noise.
Tash wrote in the caption: “He hates the word bath so I tend to just get attitude.”
The video has proved to be a big hit on TikTok, with 1.9 million views and over 366,000 likes.
Thousands commented on the clip, including one who sent a row of demon emojis along with the words: “You have to take a bath, ‘LALALALAAALLAA.'”
“He cussed you out in Tasmanian devil,” one said, referencing either the cartoon character who communicates in growls and unintelligible rants or the animal that communicates much the same way.
Another wrote: “I can’t take his attitude serious when he’s running around wearing that little outfit. This is hilarious. He’s BIG mad.”
And one commenter, referring to the ancient Greek god, said: “Now we know why he’s called Zeus.”
While not quite on the same level as the mythical god, schnauzers are known to be tough, muscular and fearless, according to the American Kennel Club (AKC) website. Originally bred as ratters and farm dogs, schnauzers and their miniature breed have become popular family pets.
In 2023, the miniature schnauzer landed at No. 17 on the AKC’s list of the most popular dog breeds in the United States, with the giant schnauzer coming in at 56th and the standard schnauzer in 96th place.

In a TikTok video, Zeus, a miniature schnauzer, showed off his “attitude” when his owner told him it was time for a bath.

Tash’s viral video showed off Zeus’s “attitude,” but she also shares plenty of clips of his calmer moments.
Her page features Zeus doing tricks for treats, showing off different outfits and asking to join his owner on her bed—while still avoiding taking a bath.
