Dog of the Week: Norris

Norris is wrapping up his second month in the shelter and truly he is not pleased about it. He is what we lovingly refer to as a “wittle baby.” You see Norris cries pitifully in the shelter. If you didn’t know it was him, you might think there was a small child moaning and wailing in there. It’s heart wrenching and we will spare you the video footage. It’s also the reason we’re confident Norris is part husky. If you’ve heard huskies vocalize, it sounds like there might be a human inside.

All of Norris’ sadness immediately disappears when he gets out of the kennel. He loves everyone and everything! Norris had the day of his dreams recently when he visited the medical school at Ohio University. His body didn’t stop wiggling the whole time. Every day that Norris stays in his shelter kennel, isolated from people, is torture for him. He is a social guy and he needs a family to love. Norris gets along extremely well with other dogs and would welcome a dog sibling. Norris is not good with cats.

Can you pretty please make Norris’ dreams come true? Please call the Athens County Dog Shelter at (740) 593-5415 to meet Norris.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
