The Humane Animal Welfare Society, or HAWS, is asking for the public’s help as they work to get one of their longest-standing animal residents adopted. The animal shelter in Waukesha County says Iron Age, a nearly 2-year-old mixed-breed dog, has been in their care for 9 months. Iron Age arrived at HAWS 274 days ago as a stray and has been waiting for a forever family to adopt him ever since. In an effort to get the dog adopted, HAWS has produced videos showing off Iron Age. According to the shelter, the dog is nearly 59 pounds, chocolate brown in coloring, and is a lovable, sweet dog with a heart of gold.For more information about Iron Age, click here.
