Dog captured on busy South Florida highway finds forever home

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – A dog who led South Florida troopers on a different kind of high speed chase has found her forever home.

The dog was captured by Florida Highway Patrol on Monday after being found loose along the highway.

All the chaos led to the canine being named Taylor Swift.

In the time since, after the dog was brought to the Humane Society of Broward County, Taylor Swift found she had more than a few fans.

That included the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies decided the pup would be perfect for their Paws and Stripes program, which trains rescued pups just like Taylor to become therapy dogs.

Taylor Swift will now undergo training to ensure she’s comfortable in several different situations.

Her adoption fee was covered by the Dolly’s Dream Foundation, and she’ll enjoy a shopping spree at the shelter’s pet boutique.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
